silica Gel It is available with blue indicating silica gel, discolored silica gel ε silica gel blue. It is blue or light blue, glass like in appearance and with spherical or irregular. It not only adsorbs moisture but also discolors variously from blue into pink until light red with the increasing of moisture adsorbed. In this way, it can indicate the humidity level of environment and tell whether the gel is fully saturated with moisture. It can be used separately to adsorb moisture; it usually goes with ordinary silica gel desiccant to indicate the adsorption saturation degree ε the Relative Humidity of the package of precision apparatus, Ieather products, clothing, foodstuff, pharmaceutical ε household applications.
