There
are spherical ε irregular wide pore silica gel. Its features are:
pore diameter=80-125Å;
pore volume=0.75-1.10ml/g; specific surface area=300-400m2/g; specific
heat=0.92KJ/kg. It can be used as package desiccant; for the dehydration
ε purification of industrial gases; it can get rid of the organic
acid ε high polymer in insulating oil; it can be used as catalyst
or carrier of catalyst; it can adsorb macromolecule albumen during
industrial fermentation; it can be used as cat litter.
